I’ve decided to expand the scope of the Lessons section on my website to include my top picks of the very best lessons published on the internet.
I’ll continue to publish and share posts with my own lessons, and I will tag them so that you can easily find them.
In addition I’ll share all the great lessons that I find on the internet with the aim of making this a great resource that you will want to bookmark and keep an eye on. There are countless lessons in article and video form published every day so I can add value for you by filtering and selecting the best content to share with you.
I’ll need to fine tune the categories and tags but let’s get started right away!
Here is a detailed review of all of the musical intervals demonstrated on the piano keyboard. For each interval we’ll study how it is constructed, listen to the characteristics of the sound and play some songs that utilize each interval.
Follow up the video with a fun musical quiz that tests your ear training and knowledge of the intervals. I’ve created 20 questions to test how well can you hear intervals played on the piano, and if you can sing the intervals when asked. Best of luck!
Another piano lesson in the form of a demonstration how to play 5 of my picks for the most epic electric piano riffs. I’ll show you an overhead view of the piano, plus falling note and musical notation displays.
The second video in my “Top 5” series, where I demonstrate some piano arrangements of my favorite riffs. This video features some classic piano pop songs, I’ll show you which notes to play using Synthesia and the overhead camera view.
